Description

The Northeast Conference (NEC) Women's Golf Championship is a three-day, 54-hole stroke play event. Team scores are calculated by summing the team's four lowest scores from each round. The tournament features member teams competing for both the team and individual conference championships. The field usually consists of around 6 to 8 teams, each with five players. Teams qualify automatically as part of the NEC member institutions. If weather affects the schedule, adjustments are made such as reducing the tournament to 36 holes. The championship follows NCAA guidelines for apparel and rules, and in the event of ties, rankings and specific committee decisions determine the winners.
