Description

The PGA WORKS Collegiate Championship - Men's Individual Division is a 54-hole stroke play golf tournament held over three days at elite courses such as Whistling Straits and TPC Sawgrass. The event is part of the PGA WORKS series, which focuses on promoting diversity by featuring student-athletes from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs), and other Minority Serving Institutions (MSIs). The individual competition includes 45 players representing approximately 37 schools across NCAA Divisions I, II, III, NAIA, and NJCAA. Players compete individually to post the lowest cumulative score over three rounds. Qualification is based on minority-serving institutional affiliation and player invitation. The championship is highly regarded and supports career development opportunities, including potential exemptions to professional tours.
