The AJGA Stan Utley and Mid-America Youth Golf Foundation Junior Championship is a 54-hole stroke play tournament held at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, Missouri. The event features a field size of 84 boys and girls, ages 12 to 19, and is played over three rounds without a cut. Entry into the tournament requires boy players to have an initial Performance Star status with the top 3 fully exempt, the top 10 needing at least 12 AJGA Performance Stars, and the top 15 requiring 8 Performance Stars. Girls follow a similar pattern for exemption and status requirements. Players confirm entry through the AJGA Player Center. There is also a qualifier event held at the Country Club of Missouri in Columbia, providing additional spots through an 18-hole stroke play format. The course plays roughly 6,975 yards for boys and 6,012 yards for girls, with a par 72 layout. This event attracts top junior golfers from across multiple states and countries, including past AJGA champions and college commits.
