The 77° Abierto de Colombia (Colombian Open) 2025 took place from July 7 to 20 at the Pueblo Viejo Country Club in Cota, Cundinamarca. This prestigious tournament is one of Colombia’s most historic golf events, attracting over 150 professional and amateur players from Colombia and internationally, including past PGA Tour Latinoamérica champions. The event features a traditional 72-hole stroke play format over four days for the professional division, preceded by amateur and senior events, which are part of the two-week tournament schedule. The course at Pueblo Viejo is known for its wide fairways, challenging rough, and complex greens, testing players’ skill and strategy under varying weather conditions typical of the Bogotá Sabana region. Juan Camilo Vesga dominated the professional field, winning with a total score of −13, finishing six shots ahead of his nearest rivals. The event also featured strong amateur and ladies’ competitions, highlighting upcoming local talent like Carlos Ardila and Luciana Medina.
